Path of Exile – Episode 5 – We explore the ledge and the prison where we kill Brutus The Lord Incarcerator in the Warden’s Quarters.
About this video: PoE gameplay where we explore the lower prison and upper prison as well as the Warden’s Quarters and Warden’s Chambers where we kill Brutus the Lord Incarcerator. After that we can continue through the Prisoner’s Gate.
Prisoner’s Gate is a area in Act 1. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Upper Prison, The Ship Graveyard, and The Western Forest.
After killing Brutus, Lord Incarcerator, the waypoint near Axiom Prison’s exit is automatically activated.
The Lower Prison is an indoor area in Act 1. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Climb and The Upper Prison.
The exit to the Climb spawns in the upper left and leads to a maze of cell rooms and cages. The waypoint is located in a random room.
The Upper Prison is a area in Act 1. This area has no waypoint and is connected to The Lower Prison and Prisoner’s Gate.
The Upper Prison contains two additional sub-areas: The Warden’s Quarters and The Warden’s Chambers. The door to the Warden’s Quarters is randomly located in the Upper Prison and leads to the player’s first encounter with Piety of Theopolis, an NPC who speaks and then vanishes. Beyond Piety is a trail of blood leading to the Warden’s Chambers and the Brutus, Lord Incarcerator boss fight.
Defeating Brutus will unlock the door to The Prisoner’s Gate. The waypoint in that area will also be activated, so you can optionally portal back to town before proceeding. After leaving The Upper Prison for Prisoner’s Gate you won’t be able to come back that way.
