About this game:Galacide creates a very good twist on the classic genre Shoot ‘Em Up. Not only will you have your own arsenal of guns and ships to choose from, you also have to think quick in order to solve puzzles.
Galacide takes the classic shoot-’em-up genre to a whole new level. Combining thrilling, fast-paced shooter action with the quick-thinking required to solve match-4 puzzles, this “shmuzzler”, as we like to call it, marks the beginning of a new era of the shoot-’em-up genre.
Galacide places you in the cockpit of 1 of 3 powerful ships as you blast your way through the alien invaders and carve a path in the advancing bitwall. Upon destruction, enemy ships drop colored scrap pieces, which correspond directly to the colors on the bitwall. Shoot your scrap at the bitwall to create matches of 4 or more same-colored blocks in order to create a path for you to advance through. Shooting enemies, avoiding their fire, and creating matches combine to create a gameplay experience that requires skill, speed, and quick-thinking.
Endless Play: Make your way through endless streams of enemies and the rapidly-advancing bitwall as you fight to survive as long as you can.
